The Coolpix Nikon l12 digital
camera is about as simple as it
gets when it comes to taking
pictures. You just point and shoot.

Beginners to the world of digital
camera's will find the coolpix l12
easy to use as it has a fully
automatic exposure control. It is
the perfect camera if you want to
take pictures of family and friends without having to be an expert in digital photography.

Basically the Coolpix Nikon l12 can be considered a budget camera. Having said that, it is suitable for most situations that you may find yourself in. Everything is automated, with basis being on simplicity.The l12 isn't the most beautiful camera that you are likely to come across. It has a plastic shell and is around 6 ounces in weight. It takes 2 AA batteries which are found behind a panel in the back.

The l12 is a 7 megapixel camera. Although this is not huge, it is more than capable of producing suprisingly good pictures.It has 2.5 inch screen, which is ample to view your pictures. The Coolpix Nikon also features Optical Vibration Reduction which reduces any shake that your hands may provide. Another great feature is the Face Priority Focus, which is capable of identifying faces and capturing them in the best possible way. Both of these features are not normally found on camera's at this level, so they are a couple of nice bonuses.

At the end of the day the Coolpix Nikon l12 is a simple digital camera to use. It doesn't get any easier than just pointing and clicking. It will do for most jobs that you are likely to encounter. It takes good pictures and has a few nice features not often found within this range of budget.

However if you are an advanced photographer, then the Coolpix Nikon l12 is probably not for you, but for the rest of us, it will do.
